Who we are

This website is operated by Waddell Mergers & Acquisitions LLC, a licensed Florida business brokerage and M&A advisory firm based in Fort Myers, Florida (“we”, “us”, “our”). You can reach us at inquiries@waddellmergers.com or 239-371-2307.

Information you give us

Valuation calculator. To display an estimate we ask for your email address. When you submit it we also record the figures you entered—your industry, whether your earnings are stated as SDE or EBITDA, your annual revenue and earnings—together with the estimated value range the calculator produced and the page you submitted from. This information is stored in our website database and emailed to our team.

Chat. If you use the chat widget on this site, the contents of your conversation and any contact details you provide are collected and stored by our customer relationship platform.

Direct contact. If you email, call or book a call with us, we keep what you send so we can respond and maintain a record of our correspondence.

Information collected automatically

Technical data. Our web host records standard server logs, including IP addresses and browser information. We briefly use a one-way hash of your IP address to limit repeated form submissions; that value is discarded within an hour and we do not retain your IP address ourselves.

Analytics and advertising. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site, and the Meta Pixel to measure advertising. Both set cookies in your browser and report activity on this site to Google and Meta respectively. Those companies may combine that information with data they already hold about you.

Fonts. Typefaces on this site are served by Google Fonts, which means your IP address is disclosed to Google when a page loads.

How we use information

• To send information about selling a business, which you can stop at any time
• To understand which pages and referral sources are useful, and to measure advertising
• To protect the site against spam and abuse
• To meet our legal, regulatory and professional obligations

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate—our web host, email provider, customer relationship platform and advertising platforms—and only so they can perform those functions for us. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights.

If you engage us on a transaction, information about you and your business is handled under the confidentiality terms of that engagement, which are separate from and take precedence over this policy. We do not disclose the identity of a business we represent, or its financial information, without a signed confidentiality agreement from the receiving party.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. This site uses them for advertising measurement through the Meta Pixel and for the chat widget. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though the chat widget may not. You can also manage advertising preferences directly with Meta.

How long we keep it

We keep valuation enquiries and correspondence for as long as we may reasonably need them for the relationship and for our records, and longer where a legal, regulatory or professional obligation requires it.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing inquiries@waddellmergers.com. You can unsubscribe from our emails using the link in any message. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under state or national privacy law, and we will honour those where they apply.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information in our care. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This site is intended for business owners and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised, and any change takes effect when posted here.
